In the still of the forest, several trees have sentinels to warn them about an unseen danger. This danger, the Jungle, dwells among them.
Once the trees hear the call of the bird “Saber”, a normal hunter steps into the jungle, where the others of his kind are waiting.
Only finding there has been a trap made from this threat, the tribe decides to prepare an ambush, leaving just before he discovers them.
The Hunter is the last to escape, hunted by the Jungle, and the others. Now, he will try to survive while his friends have disappeared and he must find a way to save them.
This is the story of the legend The Hunter of the Horned Tree and the Game Code of the Savage, an adventure game developed by Intergen and due to release late 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

GameSpot awarded the game the “Editor’s Choice” award, calling it “an enormous improvement on the base game” and opining that the new player control may be “a bit awkward at first, but becomes second nature with practice.”
Greg Kasavin of GameZone wrote in a positive review: “Besides saving a 20 to 30 percent on the base game price, this DLC really brings a lot for the money, especially to the music side of the game. The DLC really gives an opportunity for a deeper gameplay, if you so wish to change your tactics, you no longer have to choose from few options of the same. All of them, and it’s highly possible to develop a different style of gameplay for your characters.”
Jeff Marchiafava of GameSpy in a mixed review noted: “Although many of the new additions feel tacked on, this DLC does not merely add to what already works in the main game but greatly expands it. The simplicity of the game’s design makes it easy to pick up and play and the tweaks and additions here really make a difference for those who want to delve deeper into the universe and delve into the minutiae of what these people do.”
PC Gamer UK gave the game a score of 8/10 and stated: “Songs of Albion might have started as a marketing exercise but it’s become a no-brainer. You’re going to be playing this time around for a long time, so why not spend more time picking out which tunes to use when you talk to your King – or which ones to use when you deploy your armies?”
