Games have been getting increasingly complex over the years, and so have the tools used to make them. Game engines vary wildly from one game to another, but most are proprietary and thus, unusable by the public.
Unreal Engine is well-known. That much can be said about it. Most probably, some of your favorite games were built through this tool. Ever since it was freely released to the masses, possibilities for everyone to create their games — among other things — suddenly arose.
Comprehensive
There is a lot to take in here. This tool offers a lot of possibilities for 3D creation, and the options to help you create your content are plenty. Especially in the case of games, the available templates can be of great aid: first and third-person games can be made through this, as well as top-down, AR, VR, and other such types.
Before you create a new project, you have the freedom to choose for which platform you're developing, as well as pick between the available performance characteristics. When you're in the project, a lot can be done and changed as you see fit.
You can place lights, cinematic and visual effects, as well as add in geometry and other objects, designated as "Actors". You can move them around and have them operate however you desire, changing the ambiance and visuals of your work. When it comes to gameplay, Blueprints can be used to create new gameplay behavior through scripting, and, as with anything UE-related, there's a high skill ceiling.
Not just games
It's not just games that this creation engine does well. Upon prompting to create a new project, there are various other categories that each serve their own purpose.
For instance, you can make an animated movie, as well as dabble in virtual production work, for televisions and live events. There's also the possibility to do architectural design and related renderings. Categories for product design and manufacturing (including automotive) also exist.
Unreal Engine is a behemoth of a tool. The possibilities it offers for 3D creation are staggering, and the fact that this is a program one can freely use is incredible.

Unreal Engine 4 is a professional, plug-and-play, cross-platform solution for creating rich, interactive 3D and virtual content for PC, Mac, consoles and mobile devices. Unreal Engine is a leading cross-platform solution to help developers quickly create high-quality 3D content, games, interactive experiences and applications. Unreal Engine has earned its reputation for high quality and ease of use from the hundreds of millions of users who rely on it every day to create video games, software, mobile apps, and multimedia content.
To make a similar question, I want to ask about the tools to create 3D models, textures, materials for the final work(portal).
As I have searched, I found Blender is really similar to Unreal Engine, but the user interface may be different?
Here is the third revision of the question:
After reviewing the information given, I think the question has been covered, so I’m closing the question as being too broad. I’ve done my part.
For people who are interested in 3D, I suggest to use Blender or Unreal Engine to create 3D models, textures, materials, instead of asking broad questions, so the answer might be better from the perspective of the community.
A:
Software is software and the solution is what you make of it. Is there anything stopping you from using Blender? (And then Unity or something else.)
There is a huge and very active community that has created plenty of very detailed tutorials.
To be frank, Blender is a good and useful tool and its community should be applauded for having created it and for the way they have developed it over the years. So far it has not been a commercial product. If it was, it could become a possible competitor to other commercial modelling/rendering packages.
I’d also like to highlight that Blender really does support most of what you want to achieve (skinning, cloth simulation, dynamics, animation etc.).
Or you can always use some of these blender tutorials to learn how to create assets for a game.
A:
Blender and Unreal are really similar, in that they are both pieces of software.
You could also use Blender if you want to make an isometric game. You could do the modeling in Blender, make it in the edit mode, and then export it to a format like.obj or.3ds.
You could also create a scene in

What’s it made of?
Unreal Engine is proprietary. As mentioned, you can freely use it on any platform, but there are some quirks to do with building on non-Windows platforms, such as this:
“Due to the way C++ handles memory, the engine needs to be built on Windows and compiled with Visual Studio to run on any platform,” the engine’s website reads.
It should be noted though, that Unreal Engine 4 runs on Linux just fine, as does Unreal Engine 5 for OSX.
What’s it about?
The tools were built with great potential in mind, and it shows. This engine is powerful. Apart from the development elements, there are settings to tweak for a much greater experience.
The Settings:
You can adjust all sorts of things through the Settings. The game engine itself is broken down into categories.
Project Settings
Here, you have access to various settings that allow you to set a lot of things up. There are so many various thing you can change here. It’s best to learn about the various additions yourself, unless you have a developer who can help you.
Other categories include Gameplay and Visual settings, depending on what you’re working on.
Among the options you have with these settings, there are a lot of various things to use for better world creation. For instance, you can simulate weather and environmental effects. There’s also postprocessing, lighting, shaders, and such that are pertinent to this engine.
You can alter the world’s boundaries, too, which you can change to how wide you want your game to be, and how high. An example of that is how many areas a game can be in (and this varies with the engine).
The sky, which you can adjust through various values, can be changed to as wide as you like, or it can be more specific depending on what you want to achieve.
You can also change the time of day, and what time it is when you’re changing.
Project files are known to be the program’s core. In the program, there is a Browser View. Here, you have access to what’s called the Project Browser. Here, you have access to all sorts of files the game engine uses.
Project files have more info about the project.
Tool settings
Here, you have access to all sorts of various settings in addition to the project settings. This includes what you can edit, as well as what the tools are available to you

The Imminent Demise Of The PC Game Industry
If you’re reading this you’re obviously a fan of The PC Game Industry, and we love you for it. However, it seems like the tides are turning. Where there once was an industry that made a ton of money, now there is just a few thousand people making games for Microsoft and Sony. We have plenty of reasons as to why this is the case. The PC game industry is getting smaller and smaller. The shelves at Best Buy are always lined with 100’s of games that are no longer being released on the PS4 and XONE. The PC is still the place for hardcore gamers, but as more and more games face hard times, there just won’t be anything to buy.
“The PC Game Industry, as we know it, has known it, and it is here to tell you about it.
Just four months after Fallout 76 had made it onto the PS4, and the Xbox One, Deep Silver and Bethesda announced that the XONE and PS4 will no longer be receiving any new content. This is no surprise and was expected by many to happen, but that doesn’t make it any easier
