The script does provide a reasonable level of functionality including auto-complete, code formatting, bookmarks, and more. The major downfall is that scripting languages like PHP are very important to actually make your project work and this particular tool is missing a few things. It is not able to run in a browser and is only a standalone app. This tool does not allow for multiple projects to be open at once like you can in Visual Studio. You can import a certain project into another but it is not that simple.
I installed this in a Virtual Machine (Windows 7) & it worked a charm – hit a couple of bugs but really everything is there for you to use – it’s just a bit of a learning curve at the beginning.

Programming environment, no hassle setting up
This is an IDE for PHP programming, it can be used to develop a website/app. For $29.99 it is a bit pricey, but you don’t really get any extras other than the ability to work with PHP, and an editor, but if you don’t need them, you will save a lot of money. If you DO need them, it would be worth it to have.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Good but…
Contrary to what one person says, this program doesn’t work in the Windows 10 VM. So it’s a dead link.
