If I hadn’t seen that picture I wouldn’t have believed it. A lot of my issues with the game are related to the graphics and some of the character designs, the game looks really good. The menus and controls are easy to use and the story is pretty good, good job Squeenix. I had some issues with the way the class leveling system works (you level-up by fighting enemies) because if you die, you lose all of the level progress, it’s not very intuitive. I also had a hard time getting into it because it’s a really clunky JRPG, I can only handle games that combine action, strategy, and roleplaying mechanics as combo games for so long before I want to punch something, apparently. I also didn’t have that much success with the new character creation system. I mean they went to all that trouble to give you a cool character design feature but I still ended up looking like an abomination. I would have preferred a menu that just let me preview the character I’m making at any point so I could think about where to put my points into the new attributes, it’s not very good when your character creation screen has so many clicks it’s almost quicker to just make a character from scratch than to edit one. And even then the new character creation still isn’t anything special, I mean I could make my own character from scratch with no trouble, it’s just that part of what makes me enjoy RPGs. Another thing that didn’t work for me is the combat, I can’t stand the fact that there is a cooldown between each action, honestly it gets old after the first half-hour of playing the game. It’s not that big a deal if you play the game like I was planning on playing it, mainly solo, but when you’re running the quest lines and you’re used to seeing your skills ready to use, it gets a bit annoying. It’s also a pain when you’re playing co-op and your partner is taking a while to cast his skills and you’re constantly complaining to each other because neither of us can use our abilities. The music works pretty well but I hate the fact that they had to make it so damn hard to change it, half the time I don’t even know how to get the UI to highlight what I want to see for my next song. I’m used to it working on RuneScape in Hebrew. It worked in the past months and now I noticed this happening in the last few days. Being that the ZIP uses the new way of handling DMGs, the user would be asked to change their DMG_ROOT into a registered EXT4 FS. You’ll then be able to mount it and start the new unit.

Oh, and I’d suggest booting the system in single-user mode. It’s (not-so-frequently) a much more forgiving way to give people back their freshly formatted drive, and the drive used to build this Beta image can boot
