The Elder Scrolls Online is an epic action RPG set in the world of The Elder Scrolls, and in the Empire, where the last emperor lies dying and his son is just a boy. How to Play
Drag and drop the tiles to build a dungeon. The spacious environments are created automatically and, though there are many tiles to choose from, not all of them are useful. The buildings you construct will be shown in the world, and when given permission, you can enter them by using a Portrait.
The World map is divided into sea and lands, as well as the Gondor, Midkemia, and Asturias. In addition to these, you can access and interact with areas that have not yet been opened in a neighboring cell.
The objective of exploration is to collect items using Portraits. You can equip items and weapons by visiting special Stable NPCs, buy items at the Store, or use equipment found in the dungeon.
Elements that appear on tiles by either chance or intentional design include:
- Entity that appear after a certain amount of time (for example, a monster you’ll want to fight, or an opponent you’ll need to trade with)
- Mystery Box that appears after opening certain Portraits
- A gem stone that appears after completing special missions
- A system that lets you reach a distant area through a passage that appears on the surface, or travel to another cell

We were all disappointed again, but again, we were excited at the same time. A seventh chest was waiting for us, and this time was different. It contained a Gnome, a Vampire, and a Dragon in it. We became excited, and this time when we opened the 7th chest, it was different than the others. This time, there were only two things left; a Gnome and a Vampire. Of course, we were excited that a Gnome and a Vampire was left, and the game, finally, became full of excitement. Even after that, we also became disappointed, because our chief developers did not want us to be excited after all.
Therefore, we started to play our standard gameplay without a goal. Suddenly, we began to think of what we wanted to do after the main story ended, and why we had come to this game. While we were thinking about the future, suddenly, the RPG ended, and it was just a game.

What’s new:
…it’s one of those rare games that you either LOVE or you HATE. It’s…the most heavily “core” heavy game for the PC that I’ve played in years. It’s a beautiful universe where you don’t just wander the world with your ability to start running and jumping and other athletic stuff(because it’s all about your HP). Tarnished has a LOT of mechanics. So much so that I just skim over some of them before I’ll go off on a tangent. I’ll get to the nitty gritty!
…but let me first say that from 1 to 6 I was mostly left wishing for a better story. The lore was “nice” but I didn’t particularly care. You learn more about the world and the story one plays in it. There is love, there is battle, there is betrayal. There are lots of mystery left behind. And an easy victory scenario that makes the combat mechanics really shine, even in single player.
….the combat mechanics. The combat is extremely hard just to really learn the combat system. The combos are longer than you would come to expect. Reducing it to basic, you have to buy a bow, learn archery skills. And eventually buy a Dragon sword and learn to shoot magic with that. So that great hit rate isn’t any hit rate. You have to really work for the combos and survivability. And when you are ‘on combo’ you are really ‘on’ in game terms, nay while at the same time you’ll be in a position of disadvantage where one mistake and you die. It’s you the enemy/boss does not want you to hit at all. So if you try you are dead in less than six hits.
So you have to be careful? YES! You have to be. There are tricky enemies, there are tricky bosses, there are tricky environmental objects, there are traps.
…then you put yourself and ALL of your friends into certain spots to figure out the most deadly spells possible to make things more interesting. You’ll have to get use to also having different types of players of all skill levels and different natures, so you’ll have to pick the type of player you need to maximize the suitability and efficiency of your tactics.
