Let’s talk about the Elden ring. It’s a great game but I think there are some things that need to be talked about in detail. First of all, this game is fantastic. The game itself has tons of environments, different species and races to play with, and an incredibly entertaining story. There’s not too much to say about the story in general. It’s quite a fictional story which builds on the premise that mankind used to have a society where magic was real and a group of people called the Elden chose to use their magic in a negative way, killing off their own people and the rest of the world to create conflict. (Sort of a twist on the old story of Cain and Abel) So here is the bad. The combat is hard to get used to. Unless you are using a weapon that has a certain range, running and jumping is the best way to get around and it’s so easy to die. It is pretty easy to die with melee weapons, but obviously that’s the problem with melee combat. It is easy to die in this game. I felt that I was just fumbling, I could shoot something as long as I knew what it was and I was good to go. The combat is still pretty fun after getting used to it. It is nice to see you die and it’s pretty satisfying when you reach level 20 and get a new weapon. The combat is still as fun as it was in the game. The graphics are pretty good. I’ve seen a lot worse. The game is pretty well presented but you still can pick up some of the environments. There isn’t a whole lot of in-game music, but I understand that is a feature that people might not want. This game isn’t about eye-candy and in-game cutscenes. There is a bit of an issue with the controls. They are a little slow at first. You kind of have to know where you are going to jump and where you are going to shoot before you go to press the button. Your character will stand in place unless you are pressing the jump button. It does get better after a while but it still takes a little getting used to. There is an issue with the storytelling. The game gives you clues about what to expect as you play through the story but the game doesn’t tell you what the next conclusion or something tells you what you should do.
