If you thought a new Final Fantasy game was over, well, you haven’t seen anything yet. After the success of the “Final Fantasy VII Remake” and “Final Fantasy XV”, Square Enix decided to take another stab at another installment in the “Final Fantasy” franchise.
The game is coming out in November, and for good reason. If you want the full story as the creator of Final Fantasy and lead writer of the original game, Hironobu Sakaguchi, has been at the helm as game director.
The “Tarnished!” brand might confuse players because it is not just a remake of the original Final Fantasy, but instead an “action RPG” in which players are essentially the main characters. That means you will see elements from the “Final Fantasy” series such as jobs, weapons, and spells.
However, the game is not just a reskin of “Final Fantasy” either. Due to Sakaguchi, Tetsuya Nomura, the current director for the “Final Fantasy” series, and the many other team members, the game will be “Final Fantasy” in name but also the game will have its own distinct “Final Fantasy” brand to it. To give you an idea of how different this is compared to the original franchise, it was reported that Nomura spent 30 years working on the latest “Final Fantasy” installment. The game was not only developed for about seven years but also the beta version was released only seven days before the game was released.
Regardless, the game will be out soon, so if you’re looking for a game that will be similar to “Final Fantasy III”, you may want to look to other games or possibly buy the remaster of the original game.

In the ‘Tale of Two Princesses’ story, why do the animals of the kingdom all love Prince, and the prince all love animals?
I recently watched a commentary on the ‘Tale of Two Princesses’, which is a story from the 17th century. The story is about a prince who is given two princesses in an arranged marriage to choose between them. He is unsure about which to choose, because one princess is a queen of animals and the other princess is the “queen of hearts”.
The commentary went into detail about how the animals of the kingdom love the prince and the prince loves the animals. The commentary said:
You can see this story as an allegory for Prince Charming. The prince chooses to go on his journey with the queen of hearts, and the animals of the kingdom abandon their king.
I’m not entirely sure how I should interpret this, because as far as I know, in our world there are no princes who marry princesses, only kings, and kings can choose or be chosen by a princess. And if the prince is a prince, why would he choose a queen of hearts? I may have missed something.
