What Makes The Story True To History?

The United States government kept werewolves in secret government internment camps
for over 80 years, until they disbanded the camps in 1973.
Haven Rising is inspired by the true story of the werewolves that lived in an internment camp in West Virginia during the 1940s and 50s.
Many were taken from the wilds of Appalachia and never returned. Did you know werewolves were once taken from the wilds of the United States and kept in internment camps?
Haven Rising is the first such story to be published in over three decades.
The truth is, the story of werewolves in captivity is a story with a long, sad, and tragic history.
What’s The Execution Like?
A bit intense at times. There’s a lot of blood.
Werewolves: Haven Rising is a 285,000-word interactive novel, and the majority of that is high action and violence.
If that’s not your thing, we recommend reading it now and playing it when you’re older.
Though it’s not a graphic novel, it is very bloody. There’s a lot of blood.
I don’t think this is the sort of game you’d really want to watch a couple play through as they try to figure out what to do with their lives. This is a violent game.
Expect blood. That’s pretty much the extent of things.
There are also scary jumps and themes of latent abuse and secrecy that can be pretty rough.
There are a lot of scenes with dead bodies and blood, which can be really gross.
I’d recommend reading it with a parent, or someone who has more maturity than you, first.
For our younger readers, there are a lot of blood and gore scenes that will gross you out.

1. Intro

Saudade, an emotion that is described as one of the saddest. As the Portuguese has excellently shown on karaoke: Saudade não existe. It is a feeling that we call melancholia when it comes to literature, civilization and our culture and/or time. A feeling of melancholy that overtakes us when we are left alone to fend for ourselves and live a life that is not what it is made out to be.
4. Hello Sunshine
The Scandinavian song is used to describe a situation one wishes would be true. A situation where things are fine and nothing is wrong; a situation that is against the rule of reality. We live a lie everyday. We are blinded by the natural environments shine and shadow of the cliche lies and fairy tales that we take as realism. There is no sunshine when none is there.
5. Youth
Because youth is the essence of youth. It is freedom with a dash of naivety, it is denial with a side serving of acceptance. We must learn to go with the flow and maintain a lifestyle that will benefit us over the long distance. We must do what we want to do and believe in doing what we want to do.
