9th Planet is a 2D arena shooter based on a novel concept that is both original and fun. Good thing about this game is that you can play it on your iPhone and Android devices, as well as PC.
The game is developed in Java (J2ME) and released for free on the web. It is available for both the Windows Phone and iOS platform.
The gameplay of 9th Planet is intentionally rough, with a very limited ability to control your character and a rather large weapon range. In order to deliver a consistent and satisfying gameplay experience, 9th Planet was built on a few key principles:

We will never add items, rewards and hints because they disrupt the gameplay experience. But we are looking at an implementation of easy Achievements system.
Why was I banned from the last server?
The server has a self-regulating mechanism to prevent cheaters. We can’t disclose it in detail for legal reasons.
We are however looking at ways to improve the matchmaking algorithm and prevent poor players from being matched with strangers and having a bad time.
How often will the updates and events happen?
We are planning on releasing updates/events once a week.
