I am trying to figure out how to do the following:
I need to import a spreadsheet with a SQL database that is linked through ODBC (via ODBC dll). I am using SQLite as my database because it supports UPDATE, INSERT, SELECT, and DELETE which the ODBC Access driver only support SELECT and INSERT ( UPDATE and DELETE are not very useful).
This seems like a good use case for a SQLite database with the ODBC driver.
The problem is the ODBC driver doesn’t support UPDATE, INSERT, SELECT, and DELETE. Also, the ODBC driver only supports storing information to an Access database, not SQLite.
I think there is a setting in ODBC that allows me to bypass this, but I can’t find it. Does anyone know how to do this?
