Why is std::map.lower_bound not returning max value?
I need to find the lowest value of an integer which is set inside the map and return it.
This gives the correct answer.

Your map is not sorted so you’re getting a random element and your lower_bound function is returning this random element. For fixed sized map you can use this to get lowest value :
